Security Issue

:-O

OK, I am reviewing your product for use in a large production environment. So far the product is fine except that the Authentication levels do not work. I have established levels 1, 5, 9 admin being the highest. Now I was expecting that level 1 would only have view ability but it has everything that a level 9 admin has. What am i suppose to do? Doing wrong?

Yes, looks to me like you're doing something wrong as I didn't see anyone else reporting such issue.
You may want to contact the product support for help.

I'm guessing about your problem only, but...

Let's say you have a record entry form.
Even if security level 1 is not allowed to insert and update a level one user will still see entry fields.
The security level will not turn textboxes to labels if only select/viewing is allowed.

You provide few details, but are you setting Restrict=Yes on the various
pages and/or forms on those pages? With in the restrict property, there is the ability to define what is restricted and to which groups.

It's not an automatic thing that happens after you set up the security
properties for the project. By default pages will have no restrictions and
exhibit the behavior you described.
