I am hoping that someone has done this before and can pass on advice.
I have a table with ID, name, question and 5 possible multi-choice answers ranging from never to always. There are 100 questions that have to be answered. I want to use an editable grid with radio buttons for the answers. Obviously, only one answer can be selected.
I do not understand how the radio buttons are suppossed to work. In the editable grid I cannot give them all the same name so that they are grouped but a possibility may be that through PHP code I can unselect all the remaining radio buttons in a record when a button is selected.
If anyone can help with this it would be very much appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Trevor

I think that you don't need to use editable grid for the answers. Just use a single radio-button control and it will display all 5 options.

Thanks Peter but I am not sure I understand what you mean. If I don't display all 100 questions in an editable grid, how is the user going to go from question to question and answer them all? Also, I don't understand how 1 radio button can display all 5 options?
Please could you elaborate a little more.
Thanks,
Trevor

The questions can be shown using any method you like (editable grid or record), however I meant that you don't need to use editable grid to create the list of answers (the 5 answer options). If you use use a single radio-button control then it will display all 5 options.
Though if you're using editable grid to display the list of questions then I don't understand your original question. You don't need to create multiple radio button controls, just one. That one radio button control will display all 5 choices.

Hi Peter,
The penny has finally dropped as to how radio buttons work in CCS. Forgive the ignorance here, it must be the heat
Thanks for your help!
