Hi,
I have a TOSHIBA laptop w/ XP PRO /IIS which I have to take with me to the conference to show a website that we have developed with CCS on a different laptop.
Website works fine on the developing machine and on our web server but when I try running ANY of CCS generated asp files pages just don't load and I have script timeout err after a minute or so.
Other asp/Access websites that were not created with CCS run perfectly on this TOSHIBA.
Only CCS generated asp pages do not work - I see Access .ldb lock file popping up which means that path to DB is fine.
I can display html template files (using http://localhost/project/index.html) and I can run my own hand-made asp files from the same directory using the same path to the Access DB.
I have no idea what is wrong...
We need to have it running by Monday.
Please, help.

Are you maybe using Norton Antivirus on that laptop?

Hi Peter,
yes, Norton is installed.
Yesterday I tried creating a new CCS project with just one page displaying one grid connected to the same Access Database .
I copied it to Toshiba and it worked even with Norton working.
OK, today I'll try disabling Norton,

You should only need to disable the "script blocking" portion of Norton and
leave the other protection active.

I just remembered that we also have a section on this in the documentation: http://docs.codecharge.com/studio/html/CommonErrors/PageIIS.html
Important: please be sure to reboot your computer after disabling script blocking.
I only don't understand why your other ASP scripts work OK on the same machine, thus I cannot be sure that Norton is the main problem here.

DonB & Peter,
Thank you so much for your help!!!
It was that pesky Norton.
I unchecked "script blocking" (using Don's recommendation and Peter's link) and this website is working!!!!
Although it is strange that the other "trial" website was working with "script blocking" enabled as well as 2 other asp websites.
Thanks a lot!
