I have a very complex HTML page with several form data fields.

I'd like to just "cut-and-paste" these fields into a CCS form
and modify the HTML attributes (i.e. name and value) so
that the fields will work with a CCS record or grid.

The problem is that doesn't work.

If someone has done this, I'd like to know what other code
changes I need to make in order for the imported HTML
form fields to work within a CCS record or grid.;-)

Make your CCS Grid.
Paste your HTML Content

Switch into HTML Code view and very carefully ensure that everyone of the
<!-- Green --> comments and {labels} is moved to your new HTML
content/layout.

You can change the order of your {labels} but not the <!-- Green --> - well
you can but you have to be much more carefull.

This should then work.

This works because CCS uses HTML Templates which means that you can easily
modify your layout without modifying your PHP or MySQL.

Oops - I didn't explain clearly.

What I'd like to do is use an existing HTML form as
the BASIS of a CCS record form.

New CCS objects will need to be created for each field as well.

It would be nice in a future version of CCS to provide the capabiity
of right-clicking on an HTML control and converting it to a CCS
dynamic HTML control.
