Hello,

I have a remote db hosted from a free DB hosting service, I can't connect
except via their website.
I'd like to Use CC to create dynamic pages, then FTP them on the website and
link them to the DB.
So basically, the database (mySQL) is not on my pc nor I have an alive
connection to a server when I use CC.

Is there a way to do that?
Should I install IIS on my client, then PHP, then create locally a DB that
has the *same* structure of what I have online, then generate pages locally
and then upload them?

thanks

You can getaround this restriction by installing a local copy
of MySQL and duplicating the database schema (tables, indexs, etc...)
onto your local PC.

Also make sure to use the same username/password to connect
to your local MySQL DB so that your FTP'd files work remotely as well.
