I have consulted previous discussions on this issue but the recommended solutions have not helped so some advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have used just the CC field e.g. fldMyTestField, and this results in that exact text being output into the ALT tag. :-/

I have wrapped the field name in ## and that results in the field name plus the the #'s being output to the ALT tag. :-/

I have wrapped the whole thing in cfoutput tags and that causes CCS to think its a grid and it corrupts the application. :-/

Any help greatly appreciated!!!! :-D

Do you generate for CFML with templates?
In that case you could write ...alt={fldMyTestField} and substitute it
acording to Component Reference, Examples and Techniques, 2.8.2 Working with Custom template Blocks.
I hope
<CFMODULE Template="CCSetVar.cfm" Var="@fldMyTestField" Value="#dynItem#">
will do.
