I want to be able to let users display single records from the grid. On teh record, I would like allow edit to those people designated as editors (and not the general public).
How can I do this?

I think that similar scenario is covered in the main CCS tutorial. Look for the section on implementing record security.

I suppose that Peterr meant Task Management tutorial, it is included into CCS help and also available online

Specifically this section of the tutorial shows how to configure page security:

You can do the same later by changing the "Restricted" property of a page. Specify who you want to access the page: editors, managers, admins, etc.
