Hi,
I am having a problem with a site. The following error occurs whenever I try to access the website.
Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required to service this request. Please review the following specific parse error details and modify your source file appropriately.
Parser Error Message: The virtual path '/bin/MMPageBind.ascx' maps to another application, which is not allowed.
Source Error:
Line 1: <%@ Page Language="VB" ContentType="text/html" %>
Line 2: <%@ Register TagPrefix="MM" TagName="PageBind" Src="/bin/MMPageBind.ascx" %>
Line 3: <%@ Register TagPrefix="MM" TagName="DataSet" Src="/bin/MMCommand.ascx" %>
Line 4: <MM:DataSet
Source File: c:\inetpub\wwwroot\dvd247customer\dvdhomemid.aspx Line: 2
The site was developed with ASP.NET and Dreamweaver MX. Any idea as to where I may be going wrong. I am getting the error since I moved the web without source to a new IIS Server if that helps.
Many Thanks for any assistance you can give.

You may want to try Microsoft forums, as there are many discussions about this: http://groups-beta.google.com/groups?q=%22maps%20to%20a...lr=&sa=N&tab=wg

Thanks Peterr. I will give it a bash.
What a mission trying to figure sort this out. 24 hours later and it's still not sorted.

BTW, CCS support may also be able to help with this, if it is related to CCS. I just didn't see anyone else reporting this problem, thus I suspect that it may be related to some .NET application configuration, folder, external components used, etc.

FYI, it happened to be a stupid thing. I had to rename the Virtual Directory to have an _ in it as this was the same as the original. It mattered not that I had changed all the pathing etc. Obviously the ascx had a problem with the naming. Very strange cause there didn't seem to be any sort of mapping or static settings. Most of my connstrings are set in configuration settings. Hmmmph. Oh Well.
