Hello,

you have to set the "DEP" (Data Execution Prevention) setting to "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only"

Go there via Properties of My Computer -> Advanced -> Performance settings -> Data execution Prevention

Same for WinXP SP2, where the default should be ok.

I haven't tried to add CCS2 to the save list.

I did, this is whate they said:

We've received other reports of such error, however we were unable to determine what may be causing it. Some users solved it by reinstalling CCS.
However, generally there may be several other possible reasons for such issue:
1. A conflict with another software, possibly some Spyware program, as couple other users reported such problem.
or
2. The new "data execution prevention" of Windows XP SP2, as described at:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/875352
Do you have this DEP service turned on?
or
3. Installing Service Pack 1 for Windows 2003 Service may be causing some other issue, but possibly related. We're preparing a patch for that.

Best regards,
Greg
