Hi,

I have a editable grid with DELETE option checked. As intended, this creates the check boxes for each record.
On submit, rather than deleting the record, I would like to update the record as inactive.
I selected CUSTOM DELETE TYPE as SQL and used UPDATE statement for CUSTOM DELETE.

UPDATE table_name SET status='inactive'....

But this doesn't seem to update the record.

Can I use UPDATE statement for CUSTOM DELETE?
