i have two selects... the first is called "name" the second is called "content"

lets suppose that name have the names of groups of things:
cars
fruits
eletronics
etc...

you have one table like this:

name content
cars bmw
cars ferrari
cars mercedez
fruits apple
fruits orange
eletronics television
eletronics radio

what i want: when i select cars in one select, i want that my second select to be filled with all that cars from the table, the same when i select fruits and the same when i select anything....

wich one is the better way to do that, and how can i do it?

(if you ppl know one link to one example too will be good)

thanks.
