I am not sure how easy this is but can I get about 100 characters or 50 words to be displayed only with the following appended to it (...more), so that the user can click on it like a hyperlink. I will give you an example of this:
Picture of Item £price
Description
(POD) quartz analogue rectangle watch ..... more (hyperlink)
I hope this explains it well.
