Hi all,

I am evaluating CCS and liking what I see. Couple questions I haven't figured out.

1 - I work with different designers. They usually design the front end layout of the pages, usually with dummy data. I then put in the dynamic data with my editor. Any suggestions on the best way to use ccs to generate the code it does but also to use their layout etc? Would doing it with a particular style or format help? Is there something I could do to convert it after I get it from the.?

2 - similar - if I have a task manager project and the employee directory project - is there an easy way to get them combined into 1 project? Basically if I had a task manager site but also wanted it to have the employee directory. Since they both already would exist how can I get them into 1 site and have them combined so the nav and everything works across all pages.

Thanks for any insights and help.

Hi,

Regarding applying the design, there are couple common approaches:
a) The same as you described. Your designers can provide you with an HTML that you can paste into new CCS pages, then add dynamic components to it.
OR
b) Create your pages fully with CCS, then forward the HTML files to your designers for modifications.

You can combine two projects by copying all the files from one project's folder to the other project's folder or sub-folder. For example you can create a sub-folder called "empdir" in your task manager project, then copy all employee directory folder in there. Implementing the navigation and page flow may depend on your individual projects, but you can probably just create some links between the pages that belong to each of the sections of the Website.
