jm,
I found the answer recently on various other forums, when trying to figure out how to deal with continual additions of unrelated posts to a single thread. Let me cite here an answer from another forum:
http://daniweb.com/techtalkforums/threadedpost40761.html#post40761
Quote :
We do ask that members not tag their questions on to a thread previously started by another member (regardless of how similar you problem might seem). Not only does it divert the focus of the thread away from the original poster's problem, but it also makes it less likely that you yourself will get the individual attention that you need.

Please start your own thread and post your question there. When you do, please try to give us as much specific info as possible regarding the problem (exact error messages, system specs, etc.).

I see that many forum moderators are struggling with such issues and
I believe that it is important not to mix topics and not to beat a horse to death. Rosario's question on our forum was answered in April, he hasn't responded back and currently that issue is closed.
