I have this Errormessage when I try to update my table with a
date-field (Textbox with Data Type "Date"):
"The conversion of a char data type to a datetime data type resulted in an out-of-range datetime value. (Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server)".
All Settings (Format in Project -> Settings -> Project -> Data Display Format an in Connections -> Server -> Date Format) are correct done yyyy-mm-dd (or other, has no influence of error).
In my database (MS SQL 2000), I have a field Date defined as "Date".
It seems, that mm and dd are changed. If the input is 2005-05-01 the value is stored. as 2005-01-05 in the database. Only values with dd > 12 gives this error message. Changing the settings in other date formats has no influence on this error message.
Is there someone who can help me?
Thanks! Chris

We find the solution:
You must set the region on the (DB-)Windows2003-Server German (Germany, not Austria!) and the date format dd.mm.yyyy.
Then you must set the CCS-Server-Dateformat on dd.mm.yyyy HH:nn:ss.
But you must find this ...
