Hi,

On a record form, my users should be able to choose a product. The choose the product either by productname or by productnumber.

I tried to reference the two listboxes to tyhe same field, but that did not seem to work.

Then i tried to write code to update the listbox1.value = listbox2.value on the onchange of listbox2 but that also did not seem to work.

Any suggestions?

I would suggest to build a listbox containing both name and number.
There should be some posts how to do this.
(Maybe you have to have the entries twice first ordered by product # second block ordered by name).

Thank you!. That is a very clever solution. I think i can create a union query that first shows the productnumber and trhen the names.
