I downloaded the bookstore and I made the recommended changes to common.asp but I still can't get it to work when I upload it to the server. Not even header and footer are showing!

My host only has dsn-less connection, so I made a dsn-less connection in common.asp but still no luck.

Any recommendations, please?

Does the DATA show? or just header and footer?
Also type the name with the .ASP for the browser.

Some HOST will load the Index.html or the default.html first

What database connection string you put in Commmon.asp?

I now use a dsn-less connection and did not have success until I built the connection in the CCS Project Settings connection screen. It had the advantage of guiding me through the process with a builder so I didn't miss anything. It also allows me to use separate connections for design and server without having to tinker with the common.asp file.

Do you get any error messages? It is tough to provide assistance when you simply say it doesn't work.
