I just tried using the file upload part of CCS and received the following error message. How do I get this to work?
error:
Persits uploading component "Persits" is not found. Please select another or install the component.

I need this file to be uploaded to a database field, as it needs to be identified with the user who uploads it.

Thanks,
Don

Don,
Please cick on the project name in the Project Explorer panel, and then in the "File Upload Component" select the upload component that you have an can use. The "ASP/VBScript Upload" and "ASP/VBScript Upload using ADODB.Stream" should work without 3rd party software installed.

Hi Peter,
Changed the upload component as you suggested and now I am getting this error instead:
An error occured when uploading file specified in FileUpload1 into temporary folder. Error description: Microsoft VBScript runtime error, Invalid procedure call or argument.

???
Thanks,
Don

Unfortunately I don't know the answer, but take a look at this post: http://forums.codecharge.com/posts.php?post_id=59203

Still have not been able to get this to work. I think the problem I am having is being caused by the fact that my site is hosted on one server and the database is stored on an other server. I really need to get this to work so if anyone has a solution please let me know.
Thanks,
Don
