assign a user multiple group permissions, and point CCS at a db instead of the 'static' group listing?

My PM wants me to make it so that a user can be a member of multiple groups, but I haven't been able to figure out a way to hack around the way CCS handles this.

If the CCS permissions groups were pulled from a database instead of the 'static' group/perms entry, I'd expect this to be a little bit easier to handle.

Is there any way of performing either of these tasks?

TIA

Just a wild guess off the top of my head but can you, in CCS, make a group that has as its members other groups. I haven't even experimented with this so I don't want to send you on a wild goose chase :-)
