Hi,
I have just created my first app in Codecharge as an evaluation and
everything was going fine until I wanted to connect to a different
datasource (ODBC).
I changed the connection information to point to a different ODBC data
source (data source was checked and works fine in another app), built
the project but everytime I try to log in I get:
Object required: DataSource
I have kept the datasource name the same in Codechharge, and just
changed the database being attached through via the ODBC setup.
Is there anything else I need to do to get this to work?

I've never seen such error and suspect that forum users won't have an answer either. You may want to contact the support at http://support.yessoftware.com.
Maybe also review your Connection -> Server settings, and restart the Web server in case it cached the previous ODBC settings (this especially happens with Apache).

One reason for this error is an object reference being null.

Probably a mis-match in the driver type (was database initially Access but
changed to MySQL, for example?)
You don't give an indication of the platform - PHP? If so, there are two
different library files that could be included - one for db_mysql the other
for db_odbc. Maybe the wrong one is 'hooked into" your app and thus you are
failing to instantiate the datasource object.
Also, you need to republished the entire project after such a change - did
you?
