I'm having trouble displaying an image (bmp format). A red x shows instead of the image.
To make this problem more confusing is that on the server, the images are appearing correctly, however on the development laptop the red x is coming up instead. All the code and database setup is the same.
Thus I'm thinking that this problem is something in my setup (possibly php.ini?) on the development laptop.... Alternatively is there a particular folder where images should be stored?
Is there a setting or something similar that I haven't set.

How do you refer respectively reading the images?

Right-click on the red x, select "Properties", then copy the Address/URL to another Web browser and check if such image exists.

Hi Peter,
Only just had a chance to respond.
Firstly, I should have mentioned that the image is stored in MySQL (stored as a MEDIUMBLOB).
When I click on properties as suggested and on the development laptop the result is:
http://localhost/etcetcetc/company_logo.php/1/47648d984...f1cd0d3a376327f
When I copy the address in I get the error message "This page cannot be found". Even when I remove the (what appears to be a) hex number, I get the same error message.
On the production server, it is like this except with the long string of hex not appearing. The prod server comes up with:
http://sitename/etcetcetc/company_logo.php/1/
The picture then shows correctly, when I paste this link into the address bar.
Thanks, Scotty

In this case this problem doesn't seem to be related to CodeCharge Studio since it doesn't display images from MySQL. I think that only the person who wrote that program can debug it.

hmmm, I'm a bit confused by your last comment.... The link below seems to indicate that a solution in code charge is possible....
http://forums.yessoftware.com/posts.php?post_id=49663
The code is the same on both the server and the development laptop, so I'm inclined to say that the code is ok. Is it possible that one of my PHP settings (on the laptop) is incorrect???

Of course anything can be done within CodeCharge Studio with manual coding. I'm just saying that there is no such feature in CCS therefore you could use many different ways to display your binary data. It's probably not possible to answer a question like "I have implemented something in a way that no one knows how but it doesn't work so please help me" How do you expect help without anyone knowing what you did.
