Using CCS 2.3.2.24 MS Access 2k

I have a table "Codes" with fields ID (Primary Key), "Code" the acutal code ie:0003T, and "Desc".

In a form named "Procedures", I have five seperate/independent textboxes that a user can enter a "Code". What I need is the functionality of a list box, in that the "ID" is bound and recorded in the "Procedures" table, and the "Code" is visible on the "Procedures" form. A list box won't work because of the size of the "Codes" table. How can I allow the user to enter a code (ie: 0003T) into the textbox and yet record the "ID" (ie:125) of that "Code" into the "Procedures" table? I need to ensure data integrity in that a user does not record 003T instead of 0003T.
