Hello, everybody. Since we began using CCS a few years ago to create web-based document management applications (which allow users to enter basic data about a document and upload the doc to an area on the network), the requests for similar types of applications have increased a hundred-fold! I'm wondering if anybody has attempted to create a generic type of application that would allow users to connect to a table with several common fields (for instance, an ID field, a description field, a file location field) and then also a bunch of fields that they could customize to keep additional data, as required.

I realize this is sketchy, but I'm trying to come up with a generic application that would require minimum customization and I'm just fishing for some ideas. Anything that anyone can point me to as an example would be helpful.

Many thanks!

Take a look at our website, I have created a custom form builder that works well. Still need to work on hiding the null fields but getting there. You will need to register to take a look at it.

Wow, I got really excited about the idea of your custom form bulider. Sadly, I could not even find it on your website (which I had a lot of trouble registering with and navigating).

If you have a URL that will take me to this form builder, I would love to see it. It sounds like what I'm looking for!

Thanks.

Registration form filled, looks like it is not working.
When trying to log in with the just registered user/passwd, works anyway.
After that: Lost in Space:-{}

Sorry, I was actually doing some updates and changes. Try taking a look again. It is up and running and I will not be touching it for the next few days.

The custom form generator is called Custom List under Attic Space.
The navigation is kind of rough at this stage. I have been focused on the main backend stuff pretty much so far. I have just started working on the interface this week. Any comments and suggestions are much needed and welcome.

Hello All,
I just re-learned the importance of really testing things when you add or make changes to a project. I forgot to set the user's security level when you create a new user. No security level, no access to pages! oops! 8-)
For those of you who visited the site and have already registered I have updated your account and you should now have access.
Sorry for the confusion.
