Hello everyone,
I am having problems updating records in one of my tables. I keep getting the following error:

Data type mismatch in criteria expression. (Microsoft JET Database Engine)

I am using several list boxes which are populated from a different table. The control source is, “location ID" and the text column is, "location name". The data displayed is text but the data format in my table is an integer which is the location ID.
Do I need to convert the displayed value back to the location ID before I updating the database?

Thanks,
Xman
