Yes i have been trying to get the file upload to work no matter what i do it doesnt work all i get is the following error
The file type specified in field image_url is not allowed.
i have checked the paths and they are
temporary ../images/temp
file folder ../images/ss
i have a grid called games, then in that grid i have the following fields.
game_id
image_url <---------- upload component
download1_id
download2_id
download3_id
i fill out the info then browse and select my image it saves the info like game id and downloads but does not upload or allow the image.
allow masks are correct
permissions are correct
please any help is welcomed oh also i have the latest ccs

Hi Itec:
Have you checked the properties in the Allowed File Masks and Disallowed File Masks in the properties of the file Upload Control?.
Allowed File Masks should be set to * or the masks you are intrested to store (png; jpeg; php; etc.), and Disallowed file mask should be set to the Masks you do not want to store (pif; exe; bat; etc.).
