When I click to cancel (click x on the browser popup) the popup calendar, the date changes to 12/30/1899.
Any ideas?

Kris,
the calendar code isn't mine, I just integrated ready one into CC project. To overcome the problem you can look at modal_calendar.html code and modify it to return nothing in case user closes the window or you can modify code that opens the window to get rid of close icon. These issues are related to VB coding.
The other way is to check the date entered and just clear the field, if its value is "12/30/1899". You need some JavaScript to check it.
