Please allow security groups to be retrieve from a Table vs. being hard
coded.

If retrieve from table (can be dynamic) then CCS might not see the groups at
code generating time
How can it work if CCS.exe does not see the groups at develop time.

Jan,
You can always override the default behavior.
I wrote a set of portals to a CRM application, which has a very complex
security role structure, where a user can be a member of multiple security
profiles.
I just wrote a wrapper function similar to the CodeCharge built-in, and that
was it.
Remember, you can add code not only in the _events.xxx file but also in the
core file.
What model do you propose in retrieving from a table? Within the scope of
the CCS security model, in which you tell a page which level is required,
the use of a table does not seem to have any advantage. Can you elaborate
on what it is you are trying to accomplish? Maybe I can supply you with
some code if I understand what you are trying to do.

Hi Benjamin,
First, thanks for you help. I have been using CCS for about 1 month (had it
for years :) )
I was able to achieve what I want by creating groups and specifying higher
groups do not overwrite lower one. It is working well now. I had to adjust
but ... don't we all !!!

I have designed a special function that reads security from a table. It is written in PHP. The benifits is that not only do I have the generalized security of CCS, but I can put a call to this function prior to a table or form load and if the user has the permission, set the Visible flag on the object.
If you are interested in how I did this, let me know and I can share the code.
