I have a maint page where I edit an existing record. When I press submit, all the records get the details of the record that I have just edited. So end up with a table full of identical records.

Please check:
- data source parameters
- custom code, if any

The datasource type is 'Table' and source is the actual table name.

You have not defined the 'where parameters' for the data source, thus the update you are getting is:

update table set column=value

instead of

update table set column=value where key=keyvalue

thus it updates all records
