I am designing another appliaction i want some users to be able to delete, Add, Update items on the Database and i also want some user to only Add and Update but cant delete
please how do this using security levels from login
please can some one help if possible explain via a code

peterr i just went through the tutorial regarding the task manager that was not what i ment i want 2 different people to be able to access one table with differet rights
one should be able to add,update,delete
and the other should only be able 2 add an update but ca not delete
please help me

The tutorial shows how to allow some people to add new records, and other people to edit or delete records. You can easily modify it to do whatever else similar you may need. I don't think that you're going to find any closer example.

Here is the exact URL with the section "Disallow Update and Delete operations for unauthorized users. Only users who are assigned to a task, can edit (delete) it.":
