 Problems with Vertical JS Menus

I'm having trouble getting the Vertial JS Menu example shown in
CCSExamplePack2 to work when the dynamic menu is inserted in a header.
I can get a single page example to work as per the sample, but I want
something I can use across my whole site.

Does anyone have a working example of this that they could share? It
doesn't have to be based on tigra menu, I'm prepared to look at others
(eg UDM).

Any help or advice much appreciated.

For now I'd recommend that you describe the problems/error you're experiencing. Possibly there is a simple issue that someone could point out based on your description.

Hi Peter
The problem I'm facing is more that I don't know where to put the
various bits of code for the menu. In the example pack the code goes
partly in the <head> (style sheet, java script stuff for the menu, and
the label with the BeforeShow code associated with it) and then the
actual call to generate the menu then goes in the body of the page.

I've taken the code that goes into the <head> section and put it into
the Header file. I've then included the {Header} into the <head> section
of a page. But when I try to display the page I get a blank page. The
problem line seems to be
$Label1->SetValue($MenuUl);
If I comment this out the page displays normally. I've proven that the
CCDLookUpTreeToArray function is working because if I add
echo "<p>[" . $TempStr . "];</p>";
just before the return the menu items string will display on my page.
It seems to be the correct format - same as for the Example Pack.

Adding the actual menu generation code lines to the body of the page
doesn't help - still a blank page.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers
Robert

And, BTW, has anyone noticed that the example doesn't actually show the
third menu level - the "Comparison" item doesn't show its two sub-menu
items. But I'll worry about that when I've got the thing working for
two levels first!
