Hi,

This is driving me mad. I have a very simple test application in
Codecharge generating VB.Net code. The applications generates fine and
when I open the menu page it displays. If I click on a link to another
page I get the following error:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Server Error in '/PM_Client' Application.
Parser Error
Description: An error occurred during the parsing of a resource required
to service this request. Please review the following specific parse
error details and modify your source file appropriately.

Parser Error Message: Could not load type
'PM_Client.WorksOrderBrowse.WorksOrderBrowsePage'.

Source Error:

Line 1: <!--ASPX page @1-476FB1F8-->
Line 2: <%@ Page language="vb"
Codebehind="WorksOrderBrowse.aspx.vb" AutoEventWireup="false"
Inherits="PM_Client.WorksOrderBrowse.WorksOrderBrowsePage"
ResponseEncoding ="iso-8859-1"%>
Line 3: <%@ Import namespace="PM_Client.WorksOrderBrowse" %>
Line 4: <%@ Import namespace="PM_Client.Configuration" %>

Source File: C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\PM_Client\WorksOrderBrowse.aspx Line: 2

Version Information: Microsoft .NET Framework Version:1.1.4322.573;
ASP.NET Version:1.1.4322.573
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
However, if I open this page in CodeCharge and then view it in the
Browser it opens fine, after I log in.

If I change the application to ASP.3 then it generates and works exactly
as expected.

Is there something else I need to do to make the link with with VB.Net code?

Possibly certain .NET files weren't published and compiled. You may want to try selecting to publish "all files with extensions" in Project Settings -> Publishing.
