Hello,
I would like to create a database which allows a series of authorized users to add and edit records. However, I want to restrict access for each user to those records that he/she creates. For example, if jane is an authorized user, when she logs in, I want to direct her to a grid page which displays only those records that belong to her. Furthermore, if jane adds a new record, I would like her user information to be automatically included in that record, identifying her as the record's creator.
Can I do this in CCS?
Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to shed some insight.

Looks quite simple.
If you just want to display records that belong to a user then this done via standard filtering, similar to displaying search results.
See: http://forums.codecharge.com/search.php?s_keyword=CCGet...m[]=5&s_period= http://forums.codecharge.com/search.php?s_keyword=UserI...m[]=5&s_period=
In the same way you can use CCGetUserID to set default values, etc.
If you want to restrict access to individual records then check the main CCS tutorial. It's best place to learn the basics. Here is the section on record security: http://docs.codecharge.com/studio/html/QuickStart/Creat...rInitEvent.html

Thanks! I'll study these resources and post again if I run into problems or questions.
