In the result from a search I want to show how many records were selected from a the database. I am sure the function is there but I just can't find it.

On step 4 of Grid Builder select "[x] Display the total number of records".

I missed that when I build the grid. Now when the grid is there how do I do?.

I'm not sure, but I would just create another simple grid and check how this feature works. The builder does the same thing that can be done manually - so you can examine what the builder did.

You can add a label, and then in the before show event add the action
"Retrieve number of records"

Sounds like a good idea. Do I add the label in the table grid, search grid or do I create a new grid?
