Hi...
I downloaded the the demo. Tried through the trial period to make the program work. Had intentions of buying it. Still might even though I may never get it right. Evidently don't have the right brain components and support finally gave up on me. I don't blame them. So, you now know I am a "box of rocks" when it comes to this program.
I actually suceeded in constructing something (almost useful) with one of their "samples". The Task Manager.

All I am trying to change is the default status_id . You'll note that the Status drop down shows "All" I simply want to have this Task Manager open up with a default status_id of "Open"
---in other words only the "Open Tasks" appear when the page loads.
I've tried it a few different ways without success.
Any help is sincerely appreciated.

Ultra-simplistic solution:
Make this the target URL for whatever Link sends users to this page:
http://www.maguire-pittsburgh.com/taskman/Default2.php?status_id=2
I'm assuming there's another page, like 'index.php' which has a link to
Default2.php
The 'right' solution is to set the search form default value to 2, but then
also set the Grid's default Data Source parameter value for status_id to be
2 (where it says 'use default value if parameter is empty').
Very straightforward, it's puzzling why the tech support person couldn't
answer this.
