Hi everybody!
I'm trying to catch a session variable with GetSessionVar (i'm using perl + templ) in Open event from header page but I get a "" value....
The aim is to display user name in the header (as in gotocode site) without using dlookup.
The same code works in any other page...
What's wrong with this?
Thank you for helping me!
Bye

CC doesn't automatically create any session var but UserID and UserRights.
Did you get this name by dlookup at other page and save this to session var ?
If not , you ought to.

Yes, I've previously used SetSessionVar in another page (the first page which opens after login).
Have other ideas?
Thanx
