Is it possible to create a chatroom with CCS ?

I think yes but with customs code for the refreshing of pages after 5 sec range or so.
just like phpmychat versions.

Thanks, maybe it's not a chat room I need.
http://volvo1800chassis.com has a column with "Notes" that I want anyone to have access to and be able to write in.'
My first thought was that a simple chatroom would be the best but I am open to any suggestions...

Just make a new table called notes and make a few modifications to the
notes_list and notes_maint pages that CCS can autocreate for you...
