I'm trying to find out if it is worth to buy it or not but in order to do that I guess that some moderator of this "Discussion Board" should take a look at it and reply with some helpfull anwsers. Well that's what I understand for custumer service (not support because I didn't buy it yet). It would be very nice if somebody from Goto Code, Code Charge or whatever reply with the same interess that my collegue "Steven" did.

Thanks,

Claudio

Message Hi,
I'm trying Code Charge and every time I open it on my Windows XP professional Norton pops up a window saying tha codecharg.exe is a malicious code detected and it is recommended to bolck it making impossible to me the use of the produtc.
Ok I know that Code Charge is not malicious and I know that I cant trun the script check option on my Norton AV 2002 off, the questio is: WHY ??
Does anyone know why Norton see Code Charge as a malicous code ???

Thanks

Message And no matter what you try to set in any option in the antivirus, it just doesnt ever give you the option to allways allow the script to run.

I maybe wrong but i think that Yes Software have to get Norton to add there product to there system, It isnt an option anywhere to reset the default norton settings to allow this script, though I have other programs that bring up the full Norton '5 settings menu' and have the option to allow the action for all future uses, CC doesnt seem to kick this in at all.

I think the Norton is picking up on the HTML+Script thats used in the CodeCharge GUI, maybe theres something we can edit or turn off in the GUI html files that may help the situation?

Steven

Here is some information from Symantec .
Although it's about .asp pages the same may relate to CodeCharge application
itself.

Web server stops responding when serving .asp pages if Script Blocking is enabled

Situation:
You downloaded the Norton AntiVirus 2001 (NAV) Script Blocking update. When you run your Personal Web Server or Internet Information Server software, the computer stops responding when serving .asp pages.

Solution:
This problem has been reported to Symantec Technical Support, but we have not been able to reproduce the problem. However, preliminary investigation appears to indicate that the Scripting.FileSystemObject variable is causing the problem.

While there is no solution at this time, as a workaround, you may disable the Script Blocking option.

To disable Script Blocking:

1. Start Norton AntiVirus.
2. Click Options. If NAV is installed as part of SystemWorks, then click Norton AntiVirus.
3. Click Script Blocking.
4. Uncheck "Enable Script Blocking (recommended)."
5. Click OK.
