You learn something new every day, sometimes its vaguely useful, other times it's a real breakthrough!
Since I switched to developing in .net about a year ago I have been reticent about using CCS as it seemed to take ages to generate, compile and publish my sites, I literally had to find something else to do while I waited and quick changes were not an option.
However during a recent upgrade to my Mcafee anti virus scanner the 'active shield' configuration of the scanner was switched off - what a revelation!! Suddenly my CCS projects published instantly!
I cannot believe I suffered for a whole year and have spent hours waiting for sites to publish. If you have Mcafee installed, take my advice and disable active scan when working in CCS. It is a breath of fresh air!
