Hi guys,
I've downloaded the codecharge studio. Am trying to create a task manager but i am not able to set up the sql db for it. It keep saving everything into access. So i wondering if the sql database works on the trial version, if it does how do i get it running.
Any help would be welcome.
Regards,
Roddy

roders,
The only restriction you have in the trial version is the words "Generated by Codecharge Studio": appear on each screen.

The task manager I believe points initially to the Intranet Access database that comes with codecharge.

To convert that to MSSQL Server go into access and convert the MSAccess database to a MSAccess project .

Then go back into CodeCharge Studio and point to the SQLServer.

Hi Edd,
Does code charge studio creates the table or database for you. I manage to get the connection up, am playing around with it trying to create a protal, but it seems that no table has been created for it.
Any idea why or How?
regards,
Roders

CCS does not do any database or table maintenance for you.
Please use an external db-tool for that.

there are the sql files to create the tables and fill them with content

look in %programfiles%\CodeChargeStudio 3.0 Beta\Examples\Internet\
for Internet database and in %programfiles%\CodeChargeStudio 3.0 Beta\Examples\Intranet\ for Intranet db.
