Using the 3.0 Demo, I tried to create a small project connecting to a MySQL database. When I try to view a page in the browser, I get:

"Database error: cannot connect to Database Access denied for user 'Root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)
MySQL Error Session halted."

I have "tested" the connection under the connection settings & it says it connect there. There is no security.

A similar set up was working under V2.3. But I can't prove it was identical at this point.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Check your project.

See if your deployment options (including userid and password) are the same as your development.
