Hi. I've just downloaded and installed the demo 3.0 on a Windows 2000 machine with Office 2003. Now I can't open any Microsoft Access database.
If I double click on an .mdb I get "Cannot find the file " & full path and file name & " Make sure the path and file name are correct and all file libraries are available." The installer then runs for Office Pro 2003 and complains that it can't find SKU1E3.cab and asks for the install disk. I'm traveling for Thanksgiving and don't have all my install disks with me.
I noticed when the install was going that Jet was updated. Could this be causing the problem? Anyway to go back?
At the risk of being dramatic, I have work that I need to do over my Thanksgiving vacation and I'm going to be screwed without Access. Further, I have all the names and phone numbers of friends that I plan to visit in NYC this weekend stored in Access. It's going to suck if I have to drive back to Boston to get that install disk.
Great product and great enhancements. I've been waiting for version 3.0 to come out before I purchased.
