I just wanted to post and say the 3.0 release is a vastly improved product. It is much, much easier now to do certain things (such as dragging and dropping a field for one) and there are lots of improvements that weren't readily visible if you just loaded it and gave it a quick look. The new link dialog is really good. The visual query designer is great for building things that took a trip to the database program before. The new themes are much more professional looking (and not so darn BIG like the ones in 2.3). Overall, 3.0 is much, much better than 2.3. There's a lot more but I'll keep it short.
I just upgraded another product by another company from 2004 to 8 and other than very minor changes it feels like the same old product at a new price (with new splash screen and icons). It's almost like paying for bug fixes! I'm glad Yes didn't cop out and just release a "face-lifted" product to raise upgrade revenue. While most of the controls are in the same places (thank you!) - what's underneath has obviously been revved up and improved. The overall response of the app seems faster too.
I was a big fan of 2.3 (it saves me tons of time) but 3.0 looks to be even better.

Thank you so much!
We still have a lot of work ahead of us and hopefully CCS3 value will increase even more through additional face-lifiting, and free.
We can also expect more frequent minor updates now that the work on most complex parts of CCS3 have been completed.

Just upgraded to ccs 3.0 from ccs 2. I must say I thought ccs 2 was just ok. It did its job but... CCS 3.0 IS FANTASTIC so much easier to use, reports are a welcome feature. I just converted a ccs 2.3 project and added a few reports.
The only problems I've had was CCS 3.0 crashed 2 times. but I can't duplicate the crashes.
A really great job guys.
