Hello,

Just wanted to ask from experts about "Microsoft JET Database Engine (0x80004005) Could not use ''; file already in use." -issue
(http://support.yessoftware.com/kb_article.asp?article_id=4)

Does provided resolution of IUSR permission changes somehow can increase the risk of compromising security of the server? And if so, then how to minimize it?

Thanks.

It shouldn't, if the database is kept outside of the Web server folder structure (c:\wwwroot\inetpub). I think that all Web hosting companies provide special database folder for .mdb files, so that .mdb cannot be accessed via a URL and downloaded.
