My database, query, and label are all set correctly. I can use CodeCharge to display my labels in the grid. It works like a champ. I can hand edit the html and immediately save to achieve the effect I want:
<span style='background-color:{status_color}'> </span> {status_name}
My problem is the instant I do anything in design mode the style is deleted:
<span> </span> {status_name}
Show me the CodeCharge way.

Well, I don't really know what and how but in Design right click on row you
want to change
In the menu I see <TD> properties and all others.
If <TD> properties clicked you can set whatever you like but more
interesting you have the (button) possibility to [Inline CSS Style]
There you can set CSS style properties.
Don't ask me what and how, but give it a go.
Report back the results/accomplishments.
