Greetings, it was not inherently obvious to me how to get VSS running so I thought I would provide a quick how to:
1. Copy the contents of the c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\vss\win32 folder, if you can't find this specific path locate the folder containing the SSSCC.DLL file on your hard drive. I copied the files to my c:\windows directory.
2. From the command prompt type:
C:
CD \windows
regsvr32 ssscc.dll
When you open CCS you will see Microsoft Visual Source Safe as an option in the dropdown.
