Peace to you All (salam),

If I am granted 3 wishes, then I wish for 2 from you guys, the 3rd would be an angle :*):

1. A proper wizard for master-details implementation. Even better an automatic relatioship discovery that traverses your database and builds all the links in as hyperlinks or to be specified as grids under or to the side of the master grid.

2. An access level at the fields level not just the table. I want some users to see some of the table columns without doing resorting to queries. It would be nice to be able to do it from within the Application Builder.

Salam,

2 of your wishes are granted:
35 degrees, just kidding but you asked for an angle !

1.I think somewhere it is mentioned that CCS can actually discover
relationships between tables if a certain naming convention is used.
But maubey you meant a Master-Detail Builder that would do all and
everything much like Search/Grid/RecordForm.

2. Study the Panel commands, you could make these dependent on userlevels.
Effectively taking out fields that certain (groups of) users are not allowed
to view.
It would take a panel to be defined in the Page and a CCGetGroupID to change
visibility.

"acute angle" = angle less than 90 degrees.
"obtuse angle" = angle greater than 90 degrees.

'trying to be cute' is a colloquial expression meaning 'making a joke', more
or less. My German grandfather used the expression "You're Dutch" with
similar meaning. I always assumed it was some translation from a German
phrase. Or maybe just some mild German-Dutch hostility?

;-)
