i have a page i'm setting up to do scheduling/planning with a week view of data

on the page is a 5 column table, in the first cell i have an include that calls a page with a grid passing the date i'm looking for as a session variable - the grid simply displays the description of an appointment and the duration of the appointment. using the example in the help file i have put a total at the bottom of the grid after the rows have been output and in the before-show-row event of the grid i add the rows duration to the total duration label.

the first 'day' the grid displays properly and outputs the descriptions, durations and the total at the bottom, the next day the proper data appears in the 'included' grid but the total no longer comes up

anyone seen this behaviour ? is it because I've included the same page more than once in the 'master' page even though each include has a unique name ?

any help appreciated

Never Mind - solved
I scratched putting the running total in the grid and, instead put a dlookup with a sum of the column of data I wanted on the main (non-included) page.
