Hi ! First I have to say that I'm completely new to ASP and Code Charge. It's a great program because even if I am not an expert I managed to do some interesting things.
However, one of my various problems is :
I have a grid with records listed in it. The records get the data from my database. To be clear its similar to the "Store" project that comes with Code Charge. Like in this project you may click on one of the records (one of its fields) and you get to a more detailed page of this record (like the Product list - product detailed) .
First question : if I do it with the application builder i works, if I try to do it on my own the "more detailed page" is actually empty. Why ? How can you transfer data from a page to anotther one still refering to a certain record ?
Second question : if I restrict the access to the second page and create a login page, again I loose the data coming from the first grid ? Why is that ?
I hope I was clear but I don't think so. english isn't my mother tongue so its a bit confused sorry !
Can anybody help or just give me general hints ?
