How good (fast) will this be if i get alot of hits? 1000+ per hour. ive looked aroud the net to find some caching tools and i found jpcache.com.

PC Mag reviewed the Zend cache product recently and found it speeded up the
webserver by about 50%. If you have a lot of people requesting the same
pages, then it could be a significant help. But if each user is displaying a
different page, then I can't see how it will help.

However Zend charges around $900 per CPU so it isn't cheap. If you found a free
version in jpcache, then make sure you test it well before putting it into
production.

Before you do anything I think you should be looking for stress testing
software that will test your website under load. Then you can retest with the
caching software to see if there is any difference.

And of course, report back here with your findings. :)
