i would like to create a program that has a email notification service.What do i need to develop the service,meaning the requirments.Do i need the javaMail 1.2?Please help me.......

See tell-a-freind example shippen with CC , it doesn't use javamail.
if you use some j2ee server to run jsps you should already have javamail in it.
